Advent is not just simply stretching Christmas out over the course of the month. It is a season of slowing down to reflect and prepare for the coming of Jesus Christ. Advent has a dual meaning. It is the celebration of the arrival of Jesus and the anticipation of His return. Each week we will have moments to focus on both. May our Heavenly Father fill you with His hope, peace, joy, and love this Christmas season.

Incarnate means to be embodied in human flesh. Jesus is God incarnate, in the flesh. During the advent season, we slow down to reflect on his coming and coming again. Each of the four weeks has a corresponding theme. In this series we will explore these four themes as we prepare for the ultimate incarnation: God stepping down from heaven and taking the form of a human on earth.
